Medicare

Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older and who have paid Medicare taxes through work for at least 10 years, certain people with disabilities.

Depending on which type of Medicare you are eligible for, Medicare will cover hospital care, outpatient doctor care, and/or prescription medication.

Alabama Medicaid

Alabama Medicaid is a public health insurance program that provides free or low-cost health care services to certain low-income individuals, including eligible children, caretakers, seniors, people with disabilities, and pregnant individuals. The program is administered by the state, and funded jointly by the state and the federal government.

Alaska Medicaid

Alaska Medicaid is a public health insurance program that provides free or low-cost health care services to certain low-income individuals, including eligible adults, children, caretakers, seniors, people with disabilities, and pregnant individuals. The program is administered by the state, and funded jointly by the state and the federal government.

American Samoa Medicaid

American Samoa Medicaid is a public health insurance program that provides free or low-cost health care services to certain low-income individuals. Medicaid services are provided at the Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) Tropical Medical Center (the only hospital on the island) or by a Medicaid-approved provider. You do not need to apply for AS Medicaid. If you meet the criteria, you are presumed eligible and will receive care.

Arizona Medicaid ("AHCCCS Medical Assistance")

The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is Arizona's Medicaid program. It is a public health insurance program that provides free or low-cost health care services to certain low-income individuals, including eligible adults, children, caretakers, seniors, people with disabilities, and pregnant individuals.
